Location

The town of Monmouth, on the border between Monmouthshire and Herefordshire, nestles between the River Monnow and River Wye in the heart of the Wye Valley.

The Monmouthshire Show is held on the Monmouth Showground, Redbrook Road, Monmouth, NP25 3LX on a picturesque site covering 100 acres between the River Wye and Wyesham.

	Directions
	The Monmouth Showground (NP25 4LG) is located on the outskirts of Monmouth, bisected by the A466 Redbrook Road, between Chepstow and Monmouth. From the North - Via the M50 Ross-on-Wye and A40 dual-carriageway to Monmouth. From the South West- Via the A449 and A40 dual-carriageway. From Gloucester and the East – Via A4136 Huntley to Staunton Road. In Monmouth take A466 towards Chepstow. From Chepstow and the South – Via the A466 Chepstow to Monmouth road.

Parking

A Park and Ride scheme operates from fields adjacent to the Dixton Roundabout on the A40.

More buses have been booked and we encourage people to use this facility to ease the traffic over the Wye Bridge and on the Showground.

A free Shuttle Service operates from Monmouth town.

Buses will pick up and drop off adjacent to Handyman House at the bottom of the town near the Monnow Bridge.

Times: From 8.00am to 6.00pm

Free Parking - On the Showground or Park and Ride.

Horse Competitors Entry by Wristband

A new system is in operation in the horse area whereby there are NO tickets. To assist traffic flow, NO Passes will be required to enter the horse box park as it is outside the main showground.

Admission from the horse box park to the horse area of the showground will be by WRISTBAND only. All people (mounted or on foot) needing to enter this area must wear their wristbands at all times. Anyone not wearing a wristband will be charged admission to the showground at the current rate.
