Main Ring Entertainment at the Monmouthshire Show

The BoldDog Lings Motorcycle Display Team

The Bolddog Lings Team put on a unique non-stop, fast action show using innovative large mobile freestyle ramps, equipment and riders. The display includes demanding mid air freestyle tricks and also has jumps over cars, a demo motocross race and much more. These boys make the crowd gasp.

Scurry Racing – teams of two ponies in harness and scurry vehicles compete around an obstacle course to see who can complete the course in the least time without knocking down any of the obstacles. Cheer on your favourite!

Show Jumping – two high profile classes of show jumping attract some of the biggest names in the show jumping world.

Grand Parade – truly the most spectacular event in the main ring of any show – all the prize winning animals from the Cattle, Sheep, Goats and Horse Sections come into the Main Ring and the champions in each section are presented with their cups by the President of the Show. Over 300 animals line up to show the best in Agriculture and Farming. Where else could such a spectacular event be witnessed?

Meirion Owen & The Quack Pack
(Countryside and Main Ring) 

Meirion Owen has been performing at the Monmouthshire show for over 5 years; the crowd loves him and is usually 5 people deep when he is in the ring. He has performed all over the country at shows including the Royal Welsh. At the Monmouthshire Show he performs in both the Countryside and Main Ring.

The Inter Hunt Relay

Fantastic entertainment.  Four local hunt teams battle it out in the main ring to become the inter-hunt relay champions. Fast and furious action around fences and gates. This event is against the clock, ensuring that it keeps you on the edge of your ringside seats.
